But comfort and design are not the brand’s only concerns. It also makes a point of respecting the environment to limit their impact on the climate, which is responsible for pollution in many countries.
The co-founder of Swedish brand Airnium was inspired to create his concept following a trip to India, where he found his asthma triggered harder and more often than ever by the country’s ubiquitous pollution.
To protect himself, the man tried several solutions, but the most effective was to use face masks. After realizing that the market at the time consisted of a very limited choice of basic masks, with little design and little suitability for prolonged use, he decided to go for it.
